Woodward L'Orange Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, support, and improve test systems for aerospace products. You will lead software efforts across EOL test platforms, ensuring reliability and testability, and coordinate project phases in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

The role requires a 4+ year track record, strong LabVIEW and Python skills, and proficiency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience in a relevant industry.
• Expert knowledge of LabVIEW.
• Solid knowledge of NI TestStand.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Solid knowledge of phases and processes for successfully introducing new product into production.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English and Polish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, support, improve, and test End-Of-Line test systems for aerospace products.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of test projects.
• Create and evaluate test system requirements and test strategies; estimate new test software.
• Oversee and manage advanced software engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Establish and maintain software development standards and methodologies.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide guidance to less experienced engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
• Communicate with cross functional teams and subject matter experts to drive project success.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We areseekinga highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, supporting, andimproving moderate to high complexity test systems for aerospace products. You willbe responsible forproviding software solutions for test systems and contributing to process improvements within the department.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, support, improve, and test moderate tohigh complexity End-Of-Line test systems,ensuring designs meet testability and reliabilitycriteria

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the detailedphases of test projects

• Contribute to the creation and evaluation of testsystemrequirements, test strategies, andprovide estimates for new testsoftware

• Overseesand manages advanced software engineering projects frominceptionto completion, ensuring quality standards andtimelydelivery

• Establishes andmaintainssoftware development standards and methodologies to optimize performance and ensure highquality code

• Analyzes and troubleshoots complex software issues,leveragingdiverse information sources to implement effective solutions

• Provides guidance and support to less experienced engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledgesharing environment

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  Would be an advantage:
