Job summary

SoftwareMind is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own test automation and quality across native iOS/Android apps and the web portal. You will define test strategy, develop automated tests, and ensure release quality in close collaboration with developers and architects to improve product reliability.

You will validate authentication, session management, location services and push notifications on real devices, ensure accessibility and multilingual support, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test automation across native iOS, Android, and web portals.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
• Functional, regression, API and end-to-end testing.
• Testing responsive UIs, cross-browser, accessibility, localization.
• Validate location services, push notifications, auth, session mgmt.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers and architects on quality.
• Experience with Scrum, Jira, Confluence.
• English at C1; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy, automation and release validation for native iOS/Android apps and the web portal.
• Develop and maintain functional, regression and end-to-end automated tests.
• Validate authentication, session management and secure data handling.
• Test location features and push notifications on real devices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate production issues, validate hotfixes and expand regression coverage.
• Collaborate on requirements, test planning and estimation.
• Verify compatibility, accessibility and multilingual support across platforms.
• Validate app data after backend changes and migrations.
• Track defects, coverage and quality metrics; maintain docs.
