Job summary

emagine in Warsaw seeks a test engineer to shape digital business banking by joining an agile team responsible for testing customer-facing digital products. This role offers hybrid work (3 days in the office) under a long-term B2B contract with a 130–145 PLN hourly budget.

You will develop and execute automated tests for backend (Java, Cucumber) and frontend (TypeScript, Playwright), analyze features, prepare test cases and documentation, and perform REST API testing across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing experience in web/mobile domains.
• Experience with Java, Cucumber, and Playwright.
• Familiarity with REST API testing and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for backend and frontend.
• Create test cases and document results.
• Run manual tests on desktop and mobile devices.
• Perform REST API testing using Java and QA tools.

You will be part of a vibrant Digital Scalable Model Hub mainly located in Warsaw, working within one of six agile teams and collaborating across disciplines to design, develop, test, and enhance customer-facing digital products. This role offers the opportunity to influence solutions from concept to production while contributing to a modern, large-scale banking platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Execute, maintain, and create automated tests for both backend (Java, Cucumber) and frontend (TypeScript, Playwright)
• Conduct analysis of features and prepare test cases and documentation
• Execute manual tests on desktop and mobile devices
• Perform Rest API testing using Java
• Prepare test cases and execute cases manually
