Job summary

Mighty Koi in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to bridge art and engineering, ensuring high-quality visuals while maintaining a robust pipeline and solid collaboration with artists and engineers.

The role focuses on optimizing assets, implementing Unreal Engine 5 features, and documenting workflows within a family-like, experienced team that values creativity and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position in the video game industry.
• Superb knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong understanding of the game development pipeline.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• English language level B2/C1.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient art pipeline from concept art to game-ready assets into the engine.
• Coordinate with the code team and seek improvements to technical processes; propose asset-creation improvements and automation.
• Support all creative departments with your technical expertise.
• Asset optimization and performance tuning.
• Prepare specialized assets (fluid simulations, destructible meshes, etc.).
• Create and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintaining an efficient art pipeline; from concept art to game ready asset implementation, directly into the engine
• Coordinate with the code team and constantly seek improvements to our technical processes, come up with potential improvements for asset creation, strive for automation
• Support all creative departments in need of your expertise
• Asset optimization
• Prepare specialized assets (fluid simulations, destructible meshes etc.)
