Job summary

Utopia Design seeks a Senior/Lead Technical Architect to translate design intent into precise, buildable construction documentation for luxury hospitality projects. You will bridge concept and construction across RIBA Stages 3–5, collaborating with design, engineering, and procurement teams.

Portfolio is required. The role offers remote collaboration from an international team, exposure to high-end villas and boutique hospitality across global locations, and a focus on BIM-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of architectural design with focus on technical development and construction documentation.
• Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects — villas, hotels, resorts.
• Expert proficiency in Revit, including parametric families and terrain modeling.
• Hands-on Navisworks for BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.
• Portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Translate concept and schematic designs into coordinated Revit models and full documentation across RIBA Stages 3–5.
• Develop precise technical layouts, assemblies, and construction-level details in Revit.
• Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and interior design inputs using BIM workflows.
• Lead development of project-specific façade, roof, and technical typologies.
• Own quality control across Revit models and documentation; conduct technical reviews and flag risks.
• Build and manage project families, typologies, and detail libraries to support standardization.
• Support tender and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with specifications and codes.
• Collaborate with procurement on material quantities, specs, and product compatibility.
• Coordinate BIM modelers and technical architects on streams; contribute to shared standards.
