Optiveum seeks a Senior T24 Architect to shape the Temenos T24 landscape for a major core banking client. You will define target-state architecture, align business capabilities with technology, and lead across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Temenos T24/Temenos Transact in architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of Core Banking processes, platform capabilities, and integration dependencies.
• Proven track record leading architecture for large-scale transformation or modernization.
• Experience across multiple teams, products, or markets within a complex enterprise.
• Banking sector background with stringent availability, security, and regulatory needs.
• Languages: Fluent English (Professional level).

Location: Warsaw or Tricity (Gdynia/Gdańsk)

Work Model: Hybrid (50% Remote)

Rate: Up to 170 PLN/h

Engagement: Full-time (40 hours/week)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior T24 Architect to shape the evolution of a large and complex Core Banking environment for our client, a major player in the banking sector.

In this role, you will define and guide the architecture of the Temenos T24 landscape, ensuring that business capabilities, technology platforms, and long-term strategic goals stay perfectly aligned. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, and external partners across multiple markets, providing architectural leadership over several key initiatives and delivery streams. Your ultimate goal is to protect the stability and resilience of business-critical banking services while enabling platform modernization and simplification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and evolve the architecture roadmap for Temenos T24 and surrounding Core Banking capabilities, defining target-state architecture, principles, and standards in line with business and technology strategy.
• Provide end-to-end architectural leadership across complex initiatives, ensuring the consistency, scalability, and sustainability of the Core Banking landscape.
• Translate business requirements into robust, implementable solutions—including integrations between Core Banking and payments, digital channels, lending, deposits, customer management, and data platforms.
• Identify interfaces, data flows, and dependencies across applications, infrastructure, and external services.
• Evaluate architectural alternatives and make clear trade-offs between business value, delivery risk, and technical complexity.
• Drive the modernization and simplification of the Core Banking ecosystem by promoting API-first, event-driven, and cloud-enabled patterns.
• Improve platform maintainability, testability, and operability; identify opportunities for reuse, automation, and standardization across markets and delivery teams.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for availability, security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operability.
• Guide architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations, maintaining the architectural runway for sustainable delivery.
• Assess architectural risks, technical debt, and lifecycle concerns, guiding proportionate remediation.
• Act as a trusted advisor for strategic Core Banking initiatives and technology investment decisions, communicating complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor architects and engineers, fostering collaboration and accountable decision‑making within the teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Expert-level experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture, solution design, or senior engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of Core Banking processes, platform capabilities, and integration dependencies.
• Proven track record of leading architecture for large-scale transformation, migration, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience working across multiple teams, products, or markets within a complex enterprise environment.
• Previous background in the banking sector, involving demanding availability, security, resilience, and regulatory requirements.
• Languages: Fluent English (B2B/Professional level).
