Job summary

Talanto in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior T-SQL Developer to write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures (Sybase), and to develop Linux shell scripts for performance improvements.

You will participate in architecture assessments, design test plans, and promote best engineering practices. The role also involves documenting technical work and supporting the Production Support team with advanced troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on expert experience in database development and performance optimization.
• Strong experience writing and maintaining shell scripts.
• Willingness to learn Python, WTX and SAP Business Objects.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures (Sybase), and Linux shell scripts.
• Analyze change impacts on existing architecture, design test plans, and implement best engineering practices.
• Create technical documentation and assist the Production Support team with complex troubleshooting.
