Job summary

BorgWarner in Kraków is seeking a Systems Development Lead (SyDL) to drive the systems engineering lifecycle for next‑generation hybrid and electric vehicle programs.

You will plan, manage and track tasks, interface with customers and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality system work products. The role requires strong leadership, experience with INCOSE principles, and proficiency in engineering tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic, mechatronics, or software engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in automotive electronics, e-mobility, or related field.
• English at least B2 is required.
• Strong knowledge of ISO26262 and ASPICE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems development activities for hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Plan and manage system development tasks from requirements to design.
• Define and maintain system development strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, ASPICE, ISO26262, IEC21434.
• Generate system documentation and report progress to stakeholders.
