Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a System Test Engineer to join our Digital Platform team. You will participate in an Agile/Kanban environment and perform mainly manual testing, while automation tasks will also be part of your activities.

You will validate software baselines, execute alpha tests, report issues and contribute to quality verdicts. Strong Python, Selenium, Linux skills, ISTQB certification and experience with Jira/Git/Polarion are highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
You will do mostly manual testing, but you understand test automation and will be ready to take automation tasks as well.
You have between +5 years of experience as a Software Tester in a complex software development organization. For this role we are only looking to hire a senior experienced Tester;
ISTQB Advanced level certification is required.
Experience working with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Polarion.

Responsibilities

Execute the basic regression test on the software baseline.
Quality check of the project deliverables.
Contribute to requirement reviews with respect to testability.
Review project input documents (project test report, process conformance).
Provide a quality verdict of the delivered software; accept/reject deliverables.
Execute alpha tests on new software packages.
Report issues.
Write test reports, submit issue tickets.
Suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary.
Make sure the test systems are in a good state and solve issues where needed.
