Job summary

Digital Forms is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution design for a major digital modernization program. You will bridge business vision and Azure-based technical reality across web and mobile platforms, coordinating with 3rd party services such as Mulesoft, Salesforce CRM, and Contentful CMS.

You will lead architecture governance, drive security-by-design, and mentor engineering teams to translate the architecture into working code while ensuring a unified guest journey

Qualifications

• Senior/Lead Solution Architect for enterprise-grade B2C digital platforms (Web & Mobile, Cloud).
• Azure PaaS, Networking, API Management, and Integration services expert.
• Produce structured specs (ODC, KDD, SDD/HLD) and pass formal design reviews.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra / IDaaS in a B2C context.
• CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and operational readiness proficiency.
• Excellent ability to translate business goals into technical architecture and negotiate trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture and governance for the project.
• Defend Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and SDD during TDA forums.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and present designs in TDA forums.
• Mentor engineering teams to ensure architectural fidelity in code.
• Architect centralized identity strategy using Microsoft Entra for a unified guest view.
• Drive security-by-design, threat modeling and PII protection.

Why we're hiring

We are executing a major digital modernization program for our customer to transform the guest experience. This Project aims to deliver a unified, personalized digital journey across web and mobile platforms - integrating a modern Conversational Concierge and a Unified Booking Experience.

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to own the end-to-end solution design. You will bridge the gap between our Connected Guest Journey business vision and the technical reality on Microsoft Azure and all the relevant 3rd party services (e.g. Mulesoft, Salesforce CRM, Contentful CMS).

What you'll do

Core Architecture & Governance

• End-to-End Ownership: Own the entire solution architecture, ensuring a seamless experience in guest flows.
• Design Governance: must not only write documentation but also defend Key Design Decisions (KDDs) and Solution Design Documentation (SDD) during Technical Design Authority (TDA) forums.
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and present designs in Technical Design Authority (TDA) forums.
• Proactive Leadership: leading and mentoring engineering teams to ensure the "source of truth" in the architecture is accurately translated into code.

Identity & Security (MS Entra Focus)

• Unified Guest Identity: Architect a centralized identity strategy using e.g. Microsoft Entra (External ID / B2C) to enable a Single View of the Guest across web, mobile, and all the supported services.
• Security & Compliance: Drive security-by-design, including threat modeling, secrets management, and PII protection within a data-rich environment.

Cloud Platform & DevOps

• Azure Strategy: Design solutions aligned with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Landing Zone patterns.
• DevOps Integration: Partner with DevOps to define CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), and release strategies.
• Observability: Address NFRs for observability to trace the Connected Guest Journey across distributed services.

What we’re looking for (Must-Have)

• Experience: Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect for enterprise-grade B2C digital platforms (Web & Mobile, Cloud).
• Azure Mastery: Deep hands-on background with Azure PaaS, Networking, API Management, and Integration services.
• Governance Rigor: Ability to produce structured, defensible specs (ODC, KDD, SDD/HLD) that pass formal design reviews.
• Identity Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra / IDaaS in a B2C context.
• DevOps Fluency: Solid understanding of modern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and operational readiness.
• Communication: Excellent ability to translate business goals into technical architecture and negotiate (technical-business) trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Modern Backend Stack: Experience designing architectures using Node.js, Fastify, and oRPC.
• Mobile Architecture: Experience with front-ends, both mobile and web (React Native, Next.js).
• Concierge/Conversational Tech: Experience integrating Chatbots, AI/LLM services.
• Data & Analytics Integration: Experience designing architectures that feed into Data Lakes/Analytics platforms.
