Dolby is a global leader in providing audio and imaging solutions that create spectacular experiences on a range of diverse hardware and software platforms. As such, Dolby technology is exposed to non-licensed use which includes, but is limited to, software piracy and intellectual property (IP) thievery.

You will be part of a team responsible for creating solutions to protect Dolby’s IP and applying them in Dolby products. Acting as a senior security engineer you will be responsible for IP protection solutions from implementation to validation and integration into products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to threat modelling and IP protection designs for various Dolby products
• Implement, verify, and validate IP protection mechanisms
• Work swiftly in embedded environment at the verge of operating system, applications and hardware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professionalexperience in software security domain
• proficiency in C++, C and Python programming
• professional experience with at least one cryptographic implementation (e.g. crypto++, mbedTLS, openSSL, etc.)
• solid knowledge of applied cryptography
• solid understanding ofsecure processing and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)
• hands-onexperience in SW reverse engineering
• solidunderstanding ofexecutablebinary formats and their internals
• solidunderstanding of operating systems internals
• solid handling of disassemblers/decompilers, debuggers, emulators, virtual machines
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• good command of English (written and spoken)
• Nice to have: CTF player, security research, DIY electronics/robotics
