Job description

We are seeking an experienced developer with a strong background in Java-based enterprise applications and microservice architecture. The ideal candidate has several years of experience with common web technologies in the backend and frontend, preferably with Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• You have experience as a developer in Java-based enterprise applications with microservice architecture (security, scalability, resilience, async communication, etc.) in various projects.
• You have in-depth experience with test-driven development, continuous integration (Maven, Jenkins, JPA), and source code management (Git).
• You have a good understanding of maintainability, security, and code quality.
• You consider it a matter of course to enable high operational reliability of an application through suitable monitoring and logging.

• You will primarily develop Java-based backend applications in various products (domain-oriented microservices, private and public REST-APIs, ML-enhanced web-applications, etc.) and Angular-based frontends (SPA).
• You will review code with peers to provide and get feedback on implemented solutions.
• You will be responsible for testing, rollout, and go-live of applications, as well as triage issues and provide debugging and tracking support to resolve them.
