Job summary

OANDA Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement onboarding forms and registration workflows using React.js and Python (FastAPI). You will lead architectural decisions, coordinate API integrations, and deliver features end-to-end in a hybrid Cracow environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer with React.js and Python (FastAPI).

• Strong testing skills (PyTest, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD.

As a **Senior Full Stack Engineer**, you will:* **Drive the architecture**, design, build, and maintain dynamic onboarding forms and registration workflows using **React.js** and **Python (FastAPI)**.* Oversee and implement **third-party vendor service integrations** (APIs/SDKs), ensuring reliability, and collaborate closely with external providers and internal teams across the organization.* **Independently own features and technical initiatives** end-to-end — from technical design, analysis, and problem-solving to production deployment.* Ensure clear communication in English across cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, and business partners, driving technical alignment and pragmatic solutions.* Write clean, testable, and efficient code adhering to software engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), championing code quality and conducting constructive code reviews.* Champion and integrate modern developer tooling (including **Claude Code** and **AI assistants**) to streamline development, refactoring, and process automation across the team.* **Lead team technical discussions**, **mentor other engineers**, and continuously drive improvements in our system architecture. **What skillset you need to be successful in this role**:* **Extensive commercial experience** as a Full Stack Developer working with **React.js** and **Python (FastAPI)**.* Demonstrated experience with **system design**, clean architecture, and cloud environments (preferably **Google Cloud Platform**).* Proven experience with **third-party vendor API integrations** (e.g., identity verification, payment gateways, e-signature).* Strong command of **automated testing tools** (**PyTest**, **Cypress**, **Playwright**) and **CI/CD pipelines** to ensure system reliability.* Strong **English communication skills (C1)** for daily collaboration in a multicultural environment and cross-team alignment.* High degree of autonomy, ownership, and the ability to **mentor and support peers**.* Solid understanding of **Domain-Driven Design (DDD)** principles and **Infrastructure as Code** (IaC, e.g., Terraform).* Hands-on experience utilizing **modern developer tooling**, such as **AI assistants** and **Claude Code**, in everyday engineering workflows.
