Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking a proactive Senior Software Engineer in Poland to blend Python development with cloud engineering and AI-assisted practices. You will work directly with clients and stakeholders, designing architectures, building applications, and continuously adopting new technologies to deliver impactful results.

You’ll engage in design choices, implement scalable software, and leverage AI to accelerate development while maintaining high quality and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate software development and debugging.
• Hands-on cloud deployment on at least one major platform (Azure preferred).
• Ability to translate requirements into actionable architecture and designs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to lead client discussions and align teams.
• High accountability and proactive ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software applications using Python and modern practices.

We are looking for a proactive, technically minded Senior Software Engineer who combines solid engineering fundamentals with a passion for modern, AI-assisted development.

What you’ll get to do

• Solution Design & Architecture: Analyze business and technical requirements, make sound architectural decisions, and design both high-level system flows and lower-level components.
• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain software applications using Python and modern engineering practices.
• AI-Assisted Engineering: Leverage AI tools across the development lifecycle to optimize coding efficiency, enhance code quality, and streamline problem-solving.
• Stakeholder & Client Collaboration: Collaborate directly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to clarify requirements, confirm decisions, and lead technical discussions.
• Independent Ownership: Work independently and proactively to move projects forward while ensuring alignment with architectural constraints, technical standards, and project goals.
• Continuous Innovation: Continuously explore, learn, and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.

What you should have

• Python & Core Engineering: Practical Python development experience. Strong problem-solving skills, sound engineering judgment, and a quick-learning mindset are valued above niche specialization.
• AI-Assisted Development: Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate software development, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Cloud Engineering: Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on at least one major cloud platform (preferably Azure).
• Technical Architecture: Intermediate architecture skills with the ability to translate high-level system requirements into actionable component designs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to lead client-facing conversations, clarify complex requirements, and drive technical alignment.
• Ownership & Initiative: High accountability and proactivity—someone who takes pride in owning outcomes end-to-end and adapting to changing technical environments.

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure is required. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be an advantage
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs or microservices architectures in Python.
• Experience integrating AI-powered solutions, LLMs, MCPs and developer AI tools into software development processes.
