OANDA Kraków is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build, integrate and manage Funding applications as part of an international scrum team.

You will work with React.js, React Native, Python and Google Cloud Platform to develop the next generation Funding Platform and deliver a seamless funding experience for clients.

We value continuous learning and collaboration; English communication is essential and you will join a team of architects and UX designers.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for building, integrating and managing Funding applications to continue improving performance, modernising architecture, and expanding payment method options for clients.
• Be joining an engineering team tasked with developing the next generation Funding Platform and work alongside React Native engineers with a team of architects and UX designers as part of a larger development organization.

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer, who is a team player, passionate about new technologies and eager to constantly learn new things.

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

• Mastery of knowledge in Python (minimum 4 years of experience)
• Familiarity with GCP or Kubernetes
• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Strong verbal/written communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• The best candidate will have experience working in cloud-native and on-premise environments, in bare metal, virtualized (VM), and containerized / orchestrated deployments.
• SQLAlchemy, React
• AI-supported coding experience (formulating prompts and reviewing outputs)
