Job summary

SimCorp invites mid-level Software Engineers to join our fintech engineering team, building solutions for OTC asset management within SimCorp Dimension and SimCorp One. You will deliver features that advance the platform and maintain existing systems to keep client operations up and running.

The role emphasizes C# development with exposure to OCaml and APL, modernizing legacy code, and collaborating with product owners to refine requirements.

Qualifications

• Solid C# skills; ownership and architectural input depending on seniority.
• Experience with or interest in functional programming (OCaml, APL, F#, etc.).
• Experience refactoring legacy code and contributing to scalable backend architecture.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• A relevant CS or STEM degree with hands‑on software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and extend APIs for OTC asset management products.
• Work primarily in C#; familiarity with OCaml and APL is a plus.
• Refactor and modernize legacy code without disrupting the business.
• Improve quality, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with product owner to refine requirements and shape features.
• Code review, pair programming, and shared ownership of the solution.
