Job summary

zooplus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Customer Targeting team in Krakow. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data-driven systems and microservices supporting marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

You will work with Java/Kotlin, Spring/Hibernate, PostgreSQL/Oracle, and AWS. The role requires 8+ years in software development and a strong ownership mindset in an Agile, cross-functional setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
• Experience designing and operating microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, and IAM.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, clean code, and SOLID principles.
• Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Comfortable working in an Agile, cross-functional environment with a strong sense of ownership.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Customer Targeting team.

The team builds and maintains data pipelines and applications that enable marketing campaigns across multiple channels. We work with behavioural and analytical data, audience management, and integrations with external marketing platforms.

You'll join an international team of engineers across Poland, Spain, Austria, and India, working on systems that process large volumes of data and support marketing activities across multiple markets.
