About the Team

The Financial Platform team is part of Dutchie’s Consumer organization, focused on the Pay by Bank product and experiences like signup and checkout. We are a collaborative engineering squad with frontend and backend expertise, working with product, design, and compliance partners.

Our user journeys are complex, as customers have varied needs, and we strive to navigate those successfully. Dutchie’s success depends on the dispensaries we support, and the experiences our team owns play a critical role.

About the Role: Senior Software Engineer II - Frontend

Our product processes millions of dollars in ACH transactions daily. We are seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to help grow our consumer footprint. You should be able to work with legacy code, shaping it to meet future needs. You will challenge assumptions and help other engineers grow their skills. You’ll work daily with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, partnering closely with product and design. We focus on experimentation, performance optimization, monitoring, and alerting as we mature our product areas.

What You’ll Do

• Develop mission-critical consumer flows for new features and experiment with existing ones
• Collaborate with product and design to scope and plan work; adapt to practical constraints and create flexible execution plans
• Mentor other engineers to help them grow and meet evolving customer needs

What You Bring

• 5+ years of development experience. Fintech experience is a plus, but we’ll teach the basics
• Leadership experience and mentoring skills
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience building user experiences within complex products
• Clean, tested, and well-organized code; strong fundamentals
• Ability to work in an agile environment with frequent shipping

You’ll Get

Starting salary targeted at $149,000 – $180,000 based on level. Total rewards include:
