Waymo is seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Fleet Orchestration and Optimization team in Warsaw, Poland. This hybrid role involves building mission-critical tools for scaling Waymo's core ride-hailing and fleet management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science and over 5 years of backend engineering experience. You'll work closely with Product, UX, and engineering teams to solve real-world challenges and promote user-centric design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering or infrastructure experience.
• Experience with operations tooling, developer productivity, or developer tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve mission-critical tools and systems.
• Solve real-world problems related to event/incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineers to design user-facing products.
• Ship solutions to novel problems in a fast-paced environment.
