Job summary

Waymo is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to join the Waymo Driver Validation team in Warsaw. You will help build and evolve infrastructure supporting Waymo's core ride-hailing and fleet-management systems.

The role is hybrid, reporting to an Engineering Manager. You will collaborate across mobile apps, cloud backends, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical infrastructure for autonomous vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of full-stack development across back-end (Java/Kotlin, Python, Go, or C++) and front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Help build and evolve mission-critical horizontal infrastructure and tooling underpinning all commercialization systems.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop scalable systems and processes.
• Scale systems to meet the demands of commercial expansion and growing complexity.
• Solve hard, real-world problems such as world simulation for regression testing and fleet-management software.
