Sportradar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Sports Media) in Warsaw, Poland. You will design, build, and deploy cloud-native, scalable systems powering live sports data and media services for global partners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with data-driven architecture and modern systems design.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL and in-memory stores at scale.
• Strong understanding of core software engineering principles and patterns.
• Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based ecosystems.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tooling.
• Comfortable in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy cloud-native, high-scale systems used by enterprise customers and broadcasters worldwide.
• Work on a cross-functional product team alongside Product, Engineering, and Design to deliver impactful features and reliable systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineering groups to design well-architected services with clear boundaries and strong alignment.
• Champion best practices that improve the speed, scalability, security, and maintainability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and foster a supportive, collaborative engineering culture.
• Contribute to an environment where AI-assisted development tools are an integral part of workflow.
• Serve as a trusted technical leader within the team, promoting engineering excellence and DevOps mindset.
