Job summary

Tripstack is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Booking Engine team. You will own the technical direction of pricing, availability and booking flows that serve millions of requests daily.

You will set architectural direction, mentor peers, and balance deep individual contribution with leadership in a fast-paced environment. This senior IC role carries technical leadership scope within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering with C# and .NET, including .NET Core / .NET 8+.
• Strong command of the .NET runtime under load, performance trade-offs and caching.
• Experience owning production services on call and incident response.
• Proven track record designing scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants in production.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the technical direction for Booking Engine services and architecture.
• Design, write, review, test and support C#/.NET code at scale for millions of requests daily.
• Decompose large initiatives into deliverable increments, create stories, deliver and maintain.
• Own latency, availability and cost characteristics of services within reliability targets.
• Maintain and evolve gRPC-based API 2.0 alongside .NET services.
• Identify technology opportunities and push proposals across the organization.
• Collaborate with product managers, client integration teams and other engineers.
• Coordinate and monitor regular releases to production.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive follow-up actions after incidents.
• Mentor engineers through code/design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
