Grand Parade in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Data International team to build and evolve central data warehouse and cloud data platforms.

You will design, implement and optimize data integrations, ETL processes and SQL solutions, collaborate with analysts and engineers, and participate in on-call support while embracing hybrid working and a culture of excellence.

Formación

• Significant experience developing enterprise data warehouse solutions with SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS.
• Expertise in SQL performance optimization, ETL, data modeling, and troubleshooting production data environments.
• Experience with testing, code reviews, version control, and technical documentation.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, Kafka or Python is advantageous.

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Data International team in Kraków, where you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our central data warehouse and cloud data platforms.

Working alongside local and international colleagues, you'll help deliver reliable data solutions, support business-critical systems and contribute to the evolution of modern cloud-based data platforms using technologies including SQL Server, AWS, Snowflake and Apache Airflow.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the delivery of complex data warehouse enhancements, from requirements analysis through to deployment and post-release validation.
• Design, develop and maintain T-SQL code, data integrations and ETL processes that ensure accuracy, performance and reliability.
• Support and optimise production data systems, investigating incidents and implementing long-term improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rota, taking ownership of troubleshooting, recovery activities and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor and enhance data processing, operational procedures and platform performance.
• Assess technical risks, plan deployments and ensure changes can be released safely and efficiently.
• Review technical designs and mentor other engineers, helping to share knowledge and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable, business-focused data solutions.

• Significant experience developing and supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS.
• Expertise in SQL performance optimisation, ETL development, data modelling and troubleshooting production data environments.
• Experience with software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, version control and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex challenges and collaborate effectively across teams. Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, Kafka or Python would be advantageous.
