Job summary

William Hill PLC in Kraków is seeking a Software Developer to join our engineering team, building high-performance Java-based platforms for online gaming. You will develop scalable microservices, integrate AI capabilities, and work in a DevOps/Agile environment to deliver reliable systems at scale.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java 17+ development, Spring Boot, cloud-native workflows on AWS/Kubernetes, and contributing to the full software lifecycle. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing large-scale backend systems using Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLM integrations, RAG, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, or AI workflow automation.
• Experience with cloud-native development, including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD practices, and API development.
• A passion for technology, innovation, and identifying opportunities to use AI to improve products, processes, and developer productivity.
