EC Markets is building a next‑generation data platform to power trading, operational, and marketing intelligence. We seek a Senior Data Engineer to evolve our Snowflake‑based Data Lakehouse and establish a modern data ecosystem for analytics, compliance, and decision‑making across the business.

This high‑impact role requires an experienced engineer who can architect and implement scalable data platforms, ideally with financial/trading domain experience, from ingestion to MI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years hands‑on data engineering/analysis experience.
• Financial services, trading, or fintech exposure preferred.
• Expert SQL and data modelling with star/snowflake schemas.
• Proven experience delivering DWH/Delta Lakehouse in production.

Responsibilities

• Own Snowflake‑centric Data Lakehouse architecture and delivery.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Define data models, schemas, and transformation frameworks for analytics and regulatory use.
• Apply data versioning, orchestration, and automation best practices.
• Ensure data governance, lineage, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
• Develop semantic models on Snowflake and deliver operational reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Trading, Finance, Marketing, Compliance, and Ops to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
