State Street Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions within Technology Platform Engineering & Operations. You will help maintain and expand security-focused products, build new services, and scale enterprise systems used by thousands of IT users.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration with security engineers, architects, and data teams, with opportunities to apply AI-assisted development and modern cloud-based tooling.

Qualifications

• Modern C# and .NET (8/9/10) development.
• Experience with Blazor applications or ASP.NET Core.
• Working with Relational Databases (ideally MSSQL).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts including IAM and least privilege, secret management.
• Good understanding of Performance/Scale concepts including asynchronous code, batch processing, locking and concurrency.
• Experience designing, building, maintaining and complex distributed systems.
• Preference for and skill writing robust and correct code.
• Good understanding and proficiency working with SDLC tooling such as GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Jira.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory.
• Strong experience on working with APIs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (tech stack: Windows Server, .NET, Microsoft SQL, Azure) to join Platform Security Solutions organisation at Technology Platform Engineering & Operations division to bolster our Self-Service, Scanning and Platform Integrations function. The role holder will join other Security Software Engineers and Architects on a mission to maintain and expand existing, as well as to develop new products from scratch and operationalize them at the scale of an enterprise. This is a very exciting opportunity to work with multiple internally developed distributed systems, portals and data warehouses serving thousands of IT users and hundreds of thousands of IT assets in one of the world’s largest banks, be co-responsible for shaping their future and take them to the next level - also with the use of AI-assisted development techniques such as spec-driven development. Product mindset and strong focus on building solutions to solve the next big problem at the crossroad of Cybersecurity & IT is essential to succeed in this role and to deliver on the promise of a more cyber resilient, user-friendly bank.

Required Skills and Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and migrating or re-architecting workloads from on-prem to cloud-native
• Experience working with ServiceNow API
• Previous experience working in a regulated industry
• Demonstrated fluency in using LLMs to speed up and enhance engineering workflows

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office.

Minimum Salary

Minimum Salary: zł182,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ. Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees. In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
