Job summary

EPAM Systems is hiring a Senior Security Engineer in Poland to fortify security across our platform, including backend services and product clients. You will work with the platform security lead, own security initiatives, and operate with autonomy in a hybrid setup.

You will initially secure Windows and macOS clients, with Android/mobile scope growing over time, and translate priorities into production-ready work while documenting decisions, risks, and guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security-engineering experience, backend and/or client/device security.
• Production experience with C++ and Rust.
• Ability to understand a system end-to-end and reason about security changes.
• Background in code review, risk identification and pragmatic mitigations.
• Strong curiosity, judgment and ability to work independently with light guidance.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; English B2+.
• Nice to have: Godot or game-client development experience.
• Nice to have: Windows/macOS/Android security familiarity.
• Nice to have: Go and/or Java backend services exposure.
• Nice to have: Gaming industry background.
