Job summary

Fuse Energy is hiring a Senior or Lead Security Engineer to build out next-generation detection systems across our IT and cloud environments. You will own security monitoring, telemetry, and incident response from end to end, including proactive threat hunting and AI-assisted automation.

You will collaborate with IT and Engineering to harden systems, design preventative controls, and develop incident response playbooks.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in detection engineering or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own security monitoring and detection across AWS, identity, endpoints, SaaS, networks and data center environments.
• Build and maintain telemetry and logging pipelines to detect security incidents and continuously improve coverage.
• Lead security investigations and incident response from detection through containment, recovery and post-mortem.
• Proactively hunt for threats and identify visibility gaps in controls and detection coverage.
• Build automation to improve detection, investigation and response with AI and emerging tools.
• Collaborate with IT and Engineering to translate findings into preventative controls and better designs.
• Develop and test incident response playbooks and improve response capabilities.
• Implement and enhance internal AI agents and security bots for monitoring, investigations, reporting and other security tasks.
