SimCorp Ltd. is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Platform Security team. You will protect our products, cloud environments, platforms, and operations from evolving cyber threats while partnering with Engineering, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Product teams.

You will contribute to secure software development lifecycles, detections, logging standards, and incident response playbooks, shaping security strategy across a global technology organization.

Qualificações

• Experience in security disciplines across cloud, application and platform security.
• Ability to influence security strategy and execution.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams to embed security in processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security engineering initiatives from planning through implementation across cloud, application, and infrastructure security domains.
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk evaluations with engineering teams.
• Analyze security challenges, identify root causes, and design sustainable solutions with platform teams.
• Contribute to detection capabilities using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, KQL analytics, and related tooling.
• Define logging, monitoring, and event collection standards across the platform.
• Participate in incident response activities including investigation, containment and lessons learned.
• Perform proactive threat hunting within ownership areas.
• Develop and improve incident response playbooks and security runbooks.
• Translate threat intelligence into tangible security improvements for controls and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud architectures.
