Job summary

Duco is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer (Cloud & SecOps) to own threat detection, response and prevention for its AWS-hosted SaaS platform. You will manage the SIEM, SOC, and the run-time security of the AWS estate while collaborating with GRC and development teams.

You will lead incident response, implement detection improvements, and work with MDR providers and internal IT to raise security standards across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security operations or cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on SIEM experience and detection tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security services and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own run-time security posture of AWS environment and IAM guardrails.
• Secure corporate environment including Google Workspace and endpoints.
• Lead vulnerability management and external attack surface capabilities.
• Own SIEM platform and develop detection use cases aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Lead security incident response end to end and drive post-incident reviews.
• Automate security processes via scripting and infrastructure-as-code.
