Overview

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Senior Security Engineer to implement security controls, investigate threats, and ensure best practices are followed across Larian.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities in infrastructure components and applications
  • Deploy and operate security tools to detect and resolve issues across a wide range of systems
  • Run security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and forensic log analysis to proactively detect incidents and threats
  • Perform technical security audits and produce actionable recommendations
  • Design and implement security baselines for operating systems
  • Ensure incident handling and reporting procedures are followed
  • Educate and train staff on IT security best practices
  • Investigate and utilize new technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance security capabilities
  • Maintain up-to-date security documentation and best practices
  • Participate in change management workflows to ensure secure implementation
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in IT security roles
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Proven ability to implement proper system security controls, metrics, and performance indicators
  • Solid knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices
  • Experience with enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
  • Strong understanding of operating system security (Windows, Linux)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration
Nice to have
  • Experience securing multi-site or international environments
  • Cloud security experience
  • Scripting skills for security automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Gaming industry experience
