Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a skilled Mid/Senior Search Engineer to join our engineering team working with a major international retail brand. You will design, build, and deploy highly relevant search experiences using Solr, Lucidworks Fusion, and modern data-oriented Java services.

In this role you will optimize queries and pipelines, connect search engines to diverse data sources, and collaborate with product owners and software engineers to deliver high-relevance results at scale in a cloud

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java data-oriented backend engineering and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise search platforms: Apache Solr and Lucidworks Fusion (including Query Pipelines).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark for data processing.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
