Job summary

GlobalLogic in Wroclaw, Poland is seeking a Senior Software Development in Tests engineer to join our Core Compute Team. You will manage application and orchestration layers enabling VMs across the cloud ecosystem, with a strategic project to integrate ARM-based multi-core processors.

You will work on extending CI/CD pipelines, Python-based automated tests, and bare-metal validation across Linux environments, contributing to overall platform quality and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and test automation for system-level or infrastructure environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including development of automated test cases and test tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines, including configuration and maintenance of automated test execution.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain existing Jenkins and Groovy CI/CD meta-pipelines, including dedicated ARM branches, flags, and parameter configurations.
• Develop and maintain Python-based automated tests for system and control-plane validation.
• Automate test execution and adapt existing performance testing procedures to validate the ARM-based ecosystem.
• Perform smoke, system, and integration testing directly on bare-metal lab hardware to verify production readiness.
• Support validation of the migration and integration of infrastructure components from x86 to ARM.
• Test changes related to NUMA memory allocation logic and QEMU orchestration.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and collaborate with development engineers to identify and resolve system-level issues.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation, and overall quality of the platform.
