Job summary

Synerise is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to join our Backend Team in Poland. You will design architecture for high-volume event processing, build high-performance services, and translate complex requirements into concrete designs.

Qualifications

• Strong Scala skills with production experience using an effect system (Cats Effect, ZIO, or Akka/Pekko).
• Experience designing or significantly contributing to event-driven systems in production.
• Strong working knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Hands-on Kubernetes skills to diagnose pod issues and network challenges.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
