Job summary

Roche is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer in Madrid to design, build, and evolve reusable SAP BTP and cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable application development across the enterprise.

You will drive automation, framework development, and platform modernization while ensuring reliability, security, and developer experience as you enable enterprise teams to adopt standardized patterns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Demonstrated experience making strategic technical decisions and leading large to enterprise-level project teams.
Proven track record of designing, and implementing integrated, reliable enterprise platform capabilities across technology space.
Experience in estimating complex engineering resources, dependencies, and timelines to deliver successful enterprise projects.
Experience working with SAP BTP or comparable enterprise cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead the administration, development, and continuous evolution of reusable cloud platform capabilities and shared services.
Manage platform environments, identity and access integration, connectivity, and end-to-end engineering lifecycle.
Drive engineering excellence with DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud-native patterns.
Provide technical leadership across platform initiatives by planning capacity, managing dependencies and risks, and mentoring teams.
