Job summary

Nomagic is seeking a Senior Robotics/Software Engineer to tackle challenging problems in physical manipulation and robot control. You will help bring software to life on real robots and collaborate with a small, expert team.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, system design, and deployment in production environments. Relocation support, equity, and a flexible, partly remote work setup are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in programming industrial robots (ABB is a strong plus).
• Technical leadership skills & experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in designing systems spanning software and hardware components.
• Fluent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Build modular and expandable control systems for robot actions adaptable to multiple customer use-cases.
• Use data to build heuristics for handling different categories of items.
• Detect anomalies, e.g. signals indicating multiple items or disassembly.
• Build tools to quickly deploy robots at customer sites.
• Create interfaces and APIs for integration with warehouse management systems.
