Job summary

DCG Poland is looking for an experienced Senior Server Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise RHEL/Unix environments, collaborate on governance, security and architecture, and drive rapid incident resolution.

You will automate via Ansible and Terraform, optimize cloud costs in GCP, and ensure hybrid configurations comply with policies. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and ServiceNow is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing hundreds of RHEL and Unix servers in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with RedHat Satellite for management and deployment.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) compute and operations.
• Ability to design and implement automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Ability to optimize cloud cost (FinOps) and manage security/compliance in GCP.
• Experience in identifying and remediating configuration inconsistencies in hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and management tools for RHEL/Unix and GCP.
• Proven experience in daily server operations, troubleshooting and incident response.
• Practical experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow or similar.
• Understanding of IT governance, operational control, and compliance processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Proactive, result-oriented and automation-focused mindset.
• Ownership and accountability for delivered results.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise server environments based on RHEL/Unix systems
• Collaborate with Server Engineering on governance, security, architecture, design
• Coordinate with external support teams handling daily operations
• Drive reduction of major incidents and minimize their duration
• Optimize resource utilization (servers, licenses, workforce)
• Improve support quality for IT operations and development teams
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex server issues and incidents
• Restore services quickly after failures or disruptions
• Provide technical consultation to internal teams
• Define and maintain standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with engineering and cybersecurity policies
• Perform patching, upgrades, hardening, and monitoring of systems
