Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our finance team in Kraków. You will own end-to-end revenue accounting, ensure compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Legal, and operations to translate contracts into billing and accounting processes.

You will drive improvements, support monthly close, and provide insightful analyses to support commercial decisions. The role offers exposure to multinational processes and opportunities to influence revenue operations.

• Experience with revenue recognition and contract interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end revenue accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and policies.
• Oversee revenue calculations, billing, and revenue recognition for customer and customer-vendor arrangements.
• Review and interpret commercial contracts to determine appropriate billing structures and accounting treatment.
• Support monthly BvE and BvA reporting with clear analysis of key variances.
• Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to timelines.
• Drive operational improvements and strengthen controls across revenue, billing, and contract management.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and operations to resolve revenue, billing, and contract queries.
• Analyse revenue trends and variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support statutory, regulatory reports and audit and tax audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.
• Collaborate with the broader Finance team to drive operational excellence and scalable processes.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Experience in revenue accounting, billing, or commercial finance in complex or multinational environments.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and contract interpretation (customer and vendor).
• Experience managing end-to-end billing and revenue processes with high accuracy.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience supporting month-end close, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to drive operational improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Finance, Sales, Legal, and operations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP and revenue/billing systems.
• Proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a continuous improvement approach.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance activities is advantageous.
