Roche, within the ASPIRE program and the RDT ERP team, seeks a Resource & Finance Planning Manager to govern the budget and resources, approve POs, and ensure accurate reporting for informed decision making across the program.
You will own day-to-day resource planning, liaise with finance partners, and ensure compliance with Roche policies in a global SAP/S4HANA context.
At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The RDT Resource & Finance Planning Manager for the ASPIRE program is a key support role of RDT's contribution to ASPIRE, one of Roche's largest business transformations. You ensure in close collaboration with the ASPIRE finance network that the program's RDT budget and resources are planned, monitored, approved and reported correctly, so that program and ERP leaders can make decisions based on reliable numbers.
You own the day-to-day resource planning processes of the ASPIRE RDT function, approve purchase orders and invoices, closely liaise with the financial partners for resource requests in the program and track the benefits the program delivers. Because the role is exposed to sensitive financial data and approval processes, it is held by an internal Roche employee.
The ERP team, a core component of Roche Digital Technology (RDT), is responsible for managing the enterprise's unified digital backbone, supporting over 100,000 users across more than 100 countries. Our vital mission is to operate, protect, scale and innovate Roche's ERP/SAP systems, which is crucial for the reliable delivery of medicines and diagnostics globally.
The ERP scope encompasses critical Value Streams such as Digital Finance, Demand to Pay, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations Enablement, and Marketing Plan to Cash. The ERP Business Operations team supports the Head of ERP and the ERP Leadership Team with portfolio, resource, vendor and operational management support.
ASPIRE is Roche's global business transformation program and one of the most significant in the industry. It simplifies and harmonises global business processes across Pharma and Diagnostics and moves Roche onto a single SAP S/4HANA platform. RDT delivers the digital backbone for the program: IT deployments, the IT program organisation, and the transition of new solutions into sustain.
In this role you operate at the intersection of the ASPIRE program and RDT ERP, working in close collaboration with the program management office (cPMO), the program's finance network, and the ERP value stream leaders.
