Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a Quality Engineer focused on data products to ensure reliability of enterprise-scale analytics platforms used across healthcare facilities. You will validate complex pipelines, govern data quality, and collaborate with Data and Platform Engineers within a modern GCP ecosystem.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality assurance for cloud data systems, strong SQL, and hands-on experience with BigQuery, Spanner, and Cloud Composer.

Qualifications

• Experience testing enterprise-scale data products in cloud environments.
• Strong SQL skills for validating complex analytics data and pipelines.
• Hands-on with GCP data services, especially BigQuery, Spanner, and Cloud Composer.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, and quality rules.
• Proactive communicator with English proficiency and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute testing strategies for data products and platforms.
• Validate ingestion, transformation, modeling, quality, governance, and publishing.
• Run complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy and schema integrity.
• Test ETL/ELT pipelines across GCP services like BigQuery, Spanner, Cloud Composer.
• Investigate data quality issues using monitoring and logging tools with engineers.
• Document test plans, cases, scenarios, and reports; contribute to governance practices.
• Validate AI/ML-enabled data capabilities with focus on quality and logic.
• Support CI/CD and quality engineering improvements for platform reliability.
