Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a sharp, detail‑oriented Mid QA Engineer to join our team in Poland. The role focuses on manual validation of features, exploratory testing, and clear defect reporting within an AI/Agentic maintenance platform. You will contribute to automation over time, learning fast in a high‑velocity environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA, strong Python and API testing skills, and experience with containerized environments. English proficiency at B2+ is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience, with 2+ years on backend/integration/AI/ML-driven apps.
• Strong Python or similar language for automation and scripting.
• API testing and data persistence/audit log validation in databases.
• Ability to define and drive QA strategy from scratch with clear test plans.
• Experience setting up QA for containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of LLM application development and AI system testing.
• Experience in industrial or OT domains and SLA/downtime handling.
• Proficient written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Manual test execution against the live QA environment following established steps.
• Write clear, structured test cases with defined steps and expected results.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and integration defects.
• Create detailed bug reports in Jira with steps-to-reproduce and severity.
• Use SQL queries to validate data persistence and backend state.
• Maintain and update master test case registry with proper Jira linkage.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate test design and triage.
• Clarify acceptance criteria with the team before testing starts.
• Identify tests suitable for automation and contribute basic pytest implementations.
