VarSome Clinical is a comprehensive decision support software platform for genetic testing.

VarSome is created by Saphetor, a Switzerland-based precision medicine company with offices in Lausanne, Boston, and Athens, using bioinformatics to apply human genome data to improve health and lives worldwide.

Saphetor is pioneering the use of big-data sequencing technology, such as exome and whole-genome sequencing, for clinical practice. • Participate in the full product development life‑cycle: defining test requirements at the start of a project, tracking and managing test issues, ensuring that the software meets its acceptance criteria, signing off on releases for quality purposes and reviewing test documentation.
  • Continue to develop our automation suite and embed this within our development process.
  • Write concise documentation and revise older test cases to achieve greater testing coverage.
  • Develop new testing frameworks where necessary.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices across the team.
What you will bring
  • BSc and/or MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM degrees. A BSc and/or MSc Degree in Bioinformatics would be a plus.
