Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Kraków seeks an experienced Test Automation Engineer to define and drive the test automation strategy within a large-scale modernization program based on Azure, .NET and React.

You will develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright and .NET, design unit, integration, API and end-to-end tests, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, ensuring quality across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

What will you do?

You will be responsible for defining and driving the test automation strategy within a large-scale modernization program based on Azure, .NET and React technologies. You will develop and maintain test automation frameworks, ensure software quality across the delivery lifecycle, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote quality engineering best practices across development teams.

Your tasks

• Design and implement test automation strategies across multiple applications
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and .NET
• Create and execute unit, integration, API and end-to-end automated tests
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Validate application data, business processes and data flows across SQL and data warehouse environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and test framework development
• Strong experience with C#/.NET and automated testing
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with unit, integration, API and end-to-end testing
• Experience with xUnit, NUnit, Vitest or Jest
• Experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
• Strong SQL skills and experience validating data flows and transformations
• Experience with REST API testing and authentication mechanisms
• Strong understanding of testing best practices, test data management and quality assurance processes
• Experience with Git, code reviews and clean code practices
• English at B2 level or higher
• Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure services and Azure Data Factory
• Experience testing ETL processes, data pipelines or data warehouses
• Knowledge of Power BI, SSRS or reporting validation
• Experience with contract testing, OpenAPI validation or performance testing tools
• Knowledge of Terraform and cloud infrastructure
