Job summary

Avenga Water Well Service, LLC is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a team refactoring a large risk management app. You will blend automated Playwright tests with manual testing to ensure quality during the Java-based modernization.

Qualifications

Senior QA / QA Automation Engineer with commercial experience.
Very good knowledge of TypeScript for test automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API testing.
Experience designing maintainable test automation using Page Object Model.
Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Git repositories.
Strong manual and exploratory testing skills with attention to detail.
Good command of English; Polish at B2 level or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
Perform end-to-end UI and API testing.
Conduct thorough manual and exploratory testing of a complex business application.
Build and maintain regression coverage to ensure stability during refactoring.
Define test scenarios, edge cases, and potential regression risks.
Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
Investigate defects and contribute to root cause analysis.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and the QA Lead.
Take ownership of quality in the testing area and improve coverage.
