Veeam Software is seeking a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) to join the team focused on Veeam Backup for Salesforce. You will design testing strategies, implement automated tests for backend and frontend components, and maintain robust automation tools.

The role requires Java, SQL, REST/SOAP, Playwright, Docker, Azure DevOps, and Spring Boot experience, plus familiarity with test management systems and distributed systems concepts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java and SQL.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, HTTP and API testing.
• Familiarity with Playwright and automated testing tools (JUnit, Jupiter).
• Hands‑on Spring Boot experience and test case management tools.
• Understanding of distributed systems and interoperability across tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategies for software products.
• Develop automated tests for integration and functional scenarios (backend, frontend, data storage).
• Improve automation tools and maintain test documentation.
• Validate tests written by others and conduct test cycles (functional, integration, load).
• Analyze results, report, and improve test coverage and quality.
