Job summary

Veeam Software, based in Warsaw, seeks a Performance QA Engineer to join the R&D team. You will design and execute performance, load, and scalability tests for major components, building realistic enterprise test environments and collaborating with developers and product managers.

This role emphasizes scalability and reliability in diverse environments. Required 1–2 years in performance testing, strong Windows/Linux knowledge, and fluency in English for international teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical education or strong hands-on passion for systems and performance.
• 1–2 years of experience in performance and/or load testing.
• Able to analyze test results and clearly identify bottlenecks, limits, and risks.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and/or Linux.
• Good understanding of CPU, memory, storage, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, and scalability tests for major components of Veeam products.
• Build and maintain realistic enterprise-grade test environments with large infrastructures.
• Identify bottlenecks and work with developers, QA, and product managers to resolve issues.
• Participate in root-cause analysis of performance issues reported by Support and customers.
• Own and evolve performance labs: environment creation, configuration, monitoring, and collaboration with IT teams.
