Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the Data Analytics & Dashboarding team focused on regulatory reporting integrity for a leading investment bank.

You will design automated tests for ETL and data pipelines, validate data quality across multiple sources, and collaborate with data engineers and product owners in a hybrid setup (3 days on client sites in Wrocław or Kraków).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Testing and QA Automation experience.
• Hands-on Robot Framework, Python and SQL expertise.
• Experience with data-heavy ETL pipelines and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Robot Framework, Python and SQL.
• Validate data pipelines, transformations and business rules implemented within Databricks and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Perform end-to-end testing of data ingestion, enrichment, reconciliation and reporting processes.
• Verify data completeness, accuracy, lineage and consistency across multiple source systems and reporting layers.
• Execute validation of large-scale datasets supporting regulatory and supervisory reporting obligations.
• Investigate data anomalies, perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with engineering teams on remediation activities.
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, estimation and quality metrics reporting.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into delivery workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and stakeholders from Regulatory Reporting and Data Analytics domains.
• Ensure compliance with strict quality, auditability and control standards expected in a regulated banking environment.
