Luxoft is seeking a senior Python developer to lead the build of a new data and application platform for an investment banking client. The role emphasizes clean code, agile delivery, and high-quality software.

You will design and maintain back-end services, build data pipelines on Databricks, and guide architecture decisions while mentoring the team. Strong PySpark and ETL experience are required.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on PySpark and distributed data processing
• Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Hands-on Databricks experience
• Experience in automated testing of data pipelines and applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban)
• Good communication and ability to state requirements clearly

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Build and optimize data pipelines on Databricks
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews
• Define and consume RESTful APIs across teams
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Apply clean code and improve engineering standards
• Write unit and integration tests
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies
• Collaborate with QA, product managers, and architects
• Support and improve existing applications in a fast-paced enterprise setting
