Job summary

Intetics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our integrations team. You will build Python-based integrations, work with external REST APIs, and help scale our vulnerability data platform.

You’ll collaborate with product management, QA, and platform engineering to deliver reliable, maintainable integrations and contribute to internal tooling and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience with Python and dataframes libraries like pandas or polars.
• Experience with PHP and/or React.
• Deep understanding of working with REST APIs—authentication, pagination, ratelimiting, data normalization.
• Experience writing testable code, creating unit/integration tests, and mocking external APIs to validate workflows in a testing environment.
• Background in data transformation or ETL-style workflows.
• Proven ability to lead technical efforts or projects from design through release.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with external systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations for ingesting vulnerability and asset data from major security platforms.
• Work directly with external REST APIs to extract, normalize, and transform data for the platform.
• Design and implement connectors and improve the internal connector framework.
• Collaborate with product, QA, support, and platform engineering to ensure stability and scalability of integrations.
• Build tooling and automation to support connector testing, validation, and CI/CD deployment.
• Support QA and customer support teams in diagnosing and resolving connector issues.
• Take ownership of reliability and observability in connector infrastructure (logging, metrics, error handling).
