Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a Senior Python Engineer to drive data infrastructure and analytics solutions. You will analyze databases, design data models, and build robust ETL pipelines from varied sources using Python and SQL.

The role involves deploying on AWS, mentoring teammates, and improving code quality within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in Python, strong OO design, experience with Linux and time-series databases, and comfort with industrial data protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Python Engineer.
• Strong software engineering skills including object-oriented design and system design patterns.
• Experience implementing team processes and best practices for environments, security, coding standards, QA, etc.
• Experience mentoring and building skills of team members.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Timeseries DB and real-time data.
• Experience with AWS Services (Lambda, EC2, Cognito, Greengrass).
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Industry/Manufacturing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement databases, information models and data pipelines.
• Build code and logic for ETL from diverse data sources using SQL or programming languages.
• Create analytics solutions that provide insights for clients and end users.
• Improve system quality by identifying issues and standardizing procedures.
• Enhance applications by identifying opportunities and implementing improvements.
• Maintain and improve existing code; participate in peer reviews.
• Work with AWS to deploy, scale, and manage applications.
